About Alice
Alice Limehouse has practiced family law exclusively since 2003. She strives to meet her clients’ needs and goals through pragmatic, case-specific strategy and detail-driven presentation. Alice is trained in Collaborative Law, a non-adversarial process used to resolve family law issues outside of Court. In
addition to representing parties in family law disputes, she is also frequently appointed to represent the best interests of children involved in such disputes as a Guardian ad Litem and mediates family law matters both privately and through the courts. She is specifically certified in Domestic Violence mediation and was trained by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts to serve families as a Parent Coordinator. Alice has shifted her practice away from in-Court litigation to focus strictly on mediation, Guardian ad Litem work, and uncontested divorce as of 2022.
Alice is admitted to the Georgia Bar and is an active member of its Family Law Section. She belongs to the Atlanta, Dekalb, and Cobb Bar Associations and is involved in the Family Sections of each. Additionally, she is a member of the Guardian ad Litem section of the Cobb Bar and has served as chair of the board of the Family Section of the Dekalb Bar. Alice is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and has attended many of their conferences and seminars around the country. She regularly presents on Family Law issues to attorneys and judges, has been on a plethora of panels, and has guest lectured at area law schools including Emory and Georgia State.
